New Music Shindig 11/22 - Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll!

This year I am grateful for my wife Kim.  I am grateful that I got to see Crime in Stereo, Envy, and Touche Amore this year at the Basement.  I am grateful for the good releases that touched my life, My Dinosaur Life by Motion City Soundtrack, Searching For A Pulse / Weight Of The World by Touche Amore and La Dispute, Challengers by The New Pornographers, I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone by Crime In Stereo, Sever Your Roots by The Felix Culpa, and plethora of other albums that went on repeat over and over in my life.  Outside of the music world I am grateful for Graduate School, having my own kitchen to cook in and people to eat my food.

Lately I have been listening to Manchester Orchestra's last album like crazy.  It has so much feeling and emotion to it.  Also very surprised by the first D.R.U.G.S. song.  It is nothing like Circa or Chiodos.  It has a different level of anger than previous albums.  The buzz makes all kind of sense.
